Bob Holt or someone with WHS had a story a few days ago suggesting that teams do not play well following the Kentucky game in basketball. If true, a comparison could be made to football and how teams typically do not play well after going against Alabama.
I’m not making an argument for the theory or an excuse for the lack of performance against MSU, but it sure seemed like the Razorbacks came out emotionally and physically spent last night. A very disappointing performance, but hopefully, things get back and stay on track this weekend.
Like you, it’s no excuse for last night and I’m not sure I buy into that theory. But we can just as easily go on another run to get the conference season back on track.
