Can someone inform me on why the men’s track team is not prominent this year? Is it a young team still developing skills? Have there been injuries? Are they under-performing? Are they simply over-rated? Does this slide portend a loss of its usual dominance for years to come? And are there any athletes that have been recruited that will bring the team back to its glory? I’m just curious. No shade.
The men’s cross country, indoor tf, and outdoor tf teams combined performances resulted in Arkansas earning second place in the John McDonnell Program of the Year Award competition for 2017-2018. The men’s team won the award last year. Considering the number of D1 schools that have track and field programs it seems the men’s program is doing well even though national championships are not won as often. Both Razorback teams had major problems with injuries this year, especially the women.
