North Carolina coach Fedora says

the US is in danger if the rules keep changing about safelty in football as our military depends on football players joining up.
And he says football is safer than it has ever been. And he dismisses the connection between football and CTE.

In my day we never heard of CTE but in my day the average player weighed a good 75 pounds less than they do now and there were in fact far fewer serious injuries but I fear anyone who claims football is not approaching a critical point of safety is drinking Kool Aid.

I saw that. Reminds me of the response on other issues where one side simply denies a problem exists.
