He’s done a pretty decent job in the NFL with Tenn and Chi as OC, he’s probably hungry, the players even in the NFL play hard for him.
not discounting the idea. He’s with the Bears right now including last year. They had one of their worst years going 3-13. Now I don’t put all that on him…they lost Cutler and the backup to injury and went with Barkley. He is the OC and QB coach I believe. So I’m not sure he’s got that winning style we’re looking for. I do like that he’s an Arkansas guy; born and played at UA. He certainly should be considered.

Dowell is a good dude and very knowledgeable, but I am not sure Arkansas should be his first head coaching stop.
I don’t think Gus is the way for us to go IMHO. I like another name, albeit a looooong shot. Chip Kelly??

I like Loggains but I think we need a coach who has recruited before. Chad Morris would be an alternative but I hear he favors an offer from A&M and they might get the first shot. Montgomery out of Tulsa is also a possibility but what does he think about having a defense? I think if we leave it up to Long and it will be his decision if he is still AD, then we’ll probably get a Bielema clone.
If it is left up to Long, we will have CBB for another 5 years regardless of results.
