And the refs just keep it up and A&M is getting hot. We’re in trouble.
Bad officiating, bad defense, bad offense. And aTm looks like they’re breaking out of their slump.
Our defense and offense is actually doing well, A&M has just caught fire from 3. It doesn’t help that they can put their hands all over us and get nothing called on them.
I don’t know what game you’re watching, but jacking up contested shots is not good offense, and allowing open 3 pointers isn’t good defense.
I’m talking overall, not the just the last few minutes.

Get Thomas out of the game. He is causing more problems than helping.
Someone needs to tell Thomas not to shoot! Along with Cook! We have had numerous possessions in this game where the shots have been ineffective offensive players. And on top of in no calls going our way at all.
How was that not a foul for Macon?

Well, that was frustrating. The final score doesn’t tell the whole story. A&M had 3-4 minute window where Hogg couldn’t miss a 3 and that’s what did it. A&M shoots 27% from 3, so to think it was a major threat was not much to worry about, but again, that one window did it for us.
The only thing I feel we did completely wrong in this game was rebounds(which I knew we wouldn’t win that battle) and when we were on the verge of making our run, we left 4-6 points off the board because of bad passes.
It pisses me off when the announcers kept saying A&M’s defense was stiffling!!! SMH!!! Refs were terrible and allowed A&M to do things that they wouldn’t let Arkansas do. They made some TERRIBLE calls to take points away as well. I’ll have to rewatch the game, but my notes showed at least 8 points they took away from us and gave to A&M.
A&M honestly probably would have won anyway because of the hot run they made, but the refs didn’t help.
It sucks, but I actually feel more comfortable moving forward on the road. Our boys showed poise most of the game and again, showed the will to fight back and get back in the game.
When A&M comes to Arkansas, might as well put a W for Arkansas. Bank on it!
LSU is next and actually is sucking it up at home, so we’ll see how that goes.
