We often read that coaching gets too much of the credit and too much of the blame, and I have generally agreed, but watching Alabama under a new coach gives me reason to rethink my opinion. Alabama still has Alabama level talent, but they look to lack some execution and discipline. I know this is just one game, but they looked pretty disorganized so far.

I don’t see elite defensive backs. Maybe my eyes are old.
Wasn’t really trying to say they performed equally, which was pretty much my point. Still had highly regarded recruits/players on campus, but the on field performance, especially appearing like they were all clicking together was missing for me. Guess I went around the world to give Saban his due.
