I usually use Coach Pittman. I believe coaches deserve to be called by their moniker and last name and not by their first.
But the man himself has people around him call him Pitt.
Pit Boss is good. I like that. I’m not kidding though. When I see Pitt my mind visualizes that script on a yellow gold helmet!

Players affectionately called him Sammy P. Not to his face. But Ragnow always refers to him as Sammy P.
