Thanks. A very nice piece. Usually I have trouble reading an article all the way if it is more than few paragraphs, but this one made me stay with it. It was a pleasure watching her get the best of batters.
Yes, she was a dominant pitcher…so glad she became Razorback and wish the best in whatever she decides to do.
Great article on Delce and the emotions a coach has about her players.
Ethan great job covering the softball team! Can’t wait for 2024!
Well done Ethan. Thanks for giving us this personal look at an amazing young lady.
Great article… she gave us everything she had …I think she finally just wore down at the end and that happens you can’t put the ball where you want to. She came out of nowhere last year to be the Ace of a truly great team and did her best to repeat this year but it just didn’t quite work out… great job Chenice!!
Ethan, probably your best article since you’ve been with Whole Hog. Really moved me. The team will really miss Chenice, both as a pitcher and a leader.
This a very good, well-written profile piece on Chenice Delce as her Razorback Softball career comes to an end. Her performance, last year and this season reflects her high standards and no doubt, will be remembered in future seasons of the program. Your article gives us all a glimpse of her special character and love of the Hill. I thought your piece was particularly important by illustrating the standard she has set for the current and future players. Her quiet confidence sometimes belies her emotional side that you have touched on. Hopefully, in the future, we might more about other aspects of her life, particularly, plans beyond graduation.
Thanks for a great article!!
A powerful and emotional piece. I could feel Coach Deifel’s tears. Ethan, you hit that one out of the park, keep writing.
Thank you, Delce, for being a Razorback. You cast a great shadow that sets a mighty high bar for all future Razorback athletes. Our program is in good hands.
I would recommend viewing the postgame press conference of the softball Regional loss if you haven’t already had the chance. It is on YouTub and it is an excellent showcase for not only Chenise in her manner but the entire program. Class all the way!!
