Wow, a tidal wave of incompetence between the NCAA, SAO and the course staff.
They could have played lift, clean and place…even if the ground was saturated. There must be more to this than we know.
It is only unplayable if you don’t allow anyone to play it! The course would be the same for everyone, no matter how difficult the conditions make it. Someone in charge was apparently scared of something that had nothing to do with golf, because they made it clear the decision had nothing to do with player safety.
Maybe the NCAA is so pissed at LSU’s Wade, that they are taking it out on the golf course.
