When was the last time both teams secured their spot in the World Series on the same day? And they each have 4 days off to set their pitching rotation for the series.
It reminds me a little bit of 2014 when the Royals swept the ALCS and the Giants won the NLCS in five games.
In looking back at the schedule, the ALCS finished one day earlier than the NLCS, but both teams had a long time to set up their pitching. That was a good World Series.
