Women hang up 102 on Florida

Wallets kept pressing down 25 late and Mike is like, okay, then we’re gonna keep scoring. All five starters had at least 15 points. Nice comeback after LSU demolished them, beating UK and UF.

Maybe he can send football a copy of that game video. Scoreboards today can handle lot’s scoring in any sport.

It was getting extremely chippy too. Double technical, a couple of elbows the refs missed, etc. We were up 21 at half and it was basically over then, but we scored 54 in the second half and won by 28.

You just gotta love CMN.

After that unnecessary full-court press on our B-Team, down 25, with 1:38 to go…

When Emrie Ellis made the first-of-two free throws for 100, Mike called a time out so the team could gather at the bench to have a little in-your-face, triple-digit celebration! :joy:

It seemed like the hogs could go to the hole any time they wanted too! It nice to see them hang 100 on the Gators.

Saylor P. is a very lovely girl…but don’t stereotype her! She is TOUGH AS NAILS. If someone get’s rough with her, she don’t play. She gave that one Florida kid a glare that said “don’t even…”

Salyor, due to an over-zealous ref’s call, played one-half of the game but kept her defensive pace with 8 rebounds in 17 minutes of which 7 were defensive. I managed to pull an interesting tidbit from Zimmerman’s encyclopedic flood of verbiage that she was currently leading the nation in defensive rebounding. While she was out Barnum and Wolfenbarger continued the rebounding pace with a combine 15 for the game with 12 defensive rebounds.

After watching our game against LSU, I believe that SC and LSU may be in a class their own at the top of the SEC. But, I think that the Lady Razorbacks are in that next group of teams. They definitely look like they could be Mike’s best team since he got here.

i have been critical of neighbors in the past, however kudos to him and the ladies for their play last night.
i saw things i had not seen before. spencer seems to have been calmed down. no ball hogging, no crazy drives. saw lots of assists, cuts to basket, good rebounding, decent shooting. carr and wolf played very well. good game and fun to watch.

 That has to be the best description of Zim’s color commentary I’ve ever read! You had me laughing out loud.

I didn’t watch the whole game, but what I saw of the second half, Zim was actually restraining himself a little.

I watched the whole thing. And Zim was in terrific form! He loves him some Saylor P. I suspect all coaches do. She is one of those kids that just does a little of everything. And just knows how to read the game. She always seem to make the right pass, or is in the right spot for the rebound, or directs the ball (even when she doesn’t have it) to the right spot. .

Just doesn’t play like AB…so this is a rough comparison. But on the men’s team AB is the player that reads the game at an uncanny high level. Such a joy to watch players like that.

I think Saylor threw one of those elbows that the refs missed.

I wasn’t gonna say it, but you don’t just think. She absolutely did!

I was pretty sure it was her, but my short-term memory isn’t as good as it used to be. I can remember stuff that happened in 1968 better than I can last week.

Lovely yes, but I hear she cusses like a Saylor.

Nice.

And yes, last night you could read her mouth, and Zimm made a point of mentioning it. But she is far from the only one! In women’s or men’s sports. Ha. I wish I could clean up my mouth. But the f-bomb is like my main work on the golf course.

I am EXACTLY the same way. That’s funny. We both love the EPL, and are losing our short term memory.

I seriously misplace my keys almost daily. You’d think I could just put them in the same place. Nope. I cannot.

Here’s one. Thanks to both my advancing age and some bad genetics (Dad is pretty much deaf as a board), I have required hearing aids for almost 10 years, although I didn’t always wear them. Got a new set of HAs a couple of months back which came with a nice little carrying case. Except I quickly lost the carrying case. Looked in all the places I thought I might have left it, no luck. Until yesterday. I moved some books on my nightstand looking for something else, and there was the carrying case.

I knew it was in my apartment somewhere and I was probably going to find it eventually while looking for something else, but this was still :man_facepalming: time. I had looked on my nightstand within an inch of that case but never moved the books.

That sounds like me. I am fully capable of looking for my keys…my mind on something else, which is all-too-often-is…not finding them…getting frustrated…and Mary saying “your keys are in your hoody pocket.” Embarrassing.
