Wisconsin 65, Houston 63

Final in Las Vegas. Wisky led 40-20 at halftime and UH looked as bad as K-State did in the first half last night. Then Wisky darn near gave it away and held on for a nailbiter. UH hit a three to cut it to two with 40 seconds left, got a defensive board with 10 seconds left but couldn’t get a tying or winning score.

Reggie Chaney had 7 points and 5 boards, by the way.

In other tournament games, A&M beat Butler 57-50; and Georgia fell way behind Northwestern and ended up losing by 16 (they may be the worst team in the SEC).

Goodness, with the athletes in metro Atlanta I just can’t fathom this, but you’re right.
