Normally the TV graphics have a pitch count for a pitcher, but they haven’t shown one I recall all weekend. Seems like they flashed a count a couple of times where the pitch speed is shown just under the ball/strike count, so I’m sure they have the ability. Don’t know why they wouldn’t do it.
That was one of the few irritating things last weekend in Arlington. In an MLB park the pitch count was never posted on any electronic board, which was pretty surprising given how you never see an MLB game on TV(or very many college games) where the pitch count is not shown constantly. Of course as the weekend went on they were having trouble keeping up with balls and strikes too.
Aloha,
Is the issue the TV coverage our the stadium ‘s scoreboard?
GHG!
Just TV. There were times not even balls and strikes on TV coverage.
