Who was the last Hog Kicker

That consistently put the ball in the end zone on kickoffs?

Apparently, they expect that to happen this year.

Steve Little? I don’t know, but it has been a long, long time ago.

I think Hocker was pretty consistent at it, but since kickoffs were moved back from the 40 yard line, we haven’t had many.

It’s a wonderful weapon to have.

Alex Tejada peaked in ninth grade at Southwest Junior High.

Hocker did that.

Is it? Do you have any data to back that up? I am not saying you’re wrong, just wondering if the data proves out that it is better to kick it into the endzone if you can. With the ball coming out to the 25, it seems like a high kick to the 2 or 3 with a good cover team might result in worse field position (for the other team) than the automatic start at the 25.

Now they can fair catch a high kick and still get the ball at the 25.

Won’t be long and the kick off may completely eliminated. Personally I like that aspect of the sport, it came be a game changer either way.
