Which games do you think are winnable

Mizzou
OM
MSU
Auburn. Has to replace the whole OL basically, been there done that, not a lot of fun. And they lost all those beefeaters upfront on defense.
LSU. I just think as much as they lost,if they lose one or two, the ship will sink faster than you think.
Realistically the first three on my list are the best chance but we don’t have hardly any depth,so we must stay close to 100% healthy

I’d say A&M is more winnable than Aubie or LSU but the two weeks to prepare advantage goes out the window because they get it too.

I totally agree with your first 3.
I’m curious we may catch somebody (GA) off guard over confident in the first game to. I know that’s a reach but ya never know.
Aubie will be interesting who’s actually running the offense.

Morris will installed at least 10% of the offense by the time we play Auburn…

This goes against a lot of logic given the way Mississippi State has beaten Arkansas the past two years, but I think that game in winnable in Week 2.

Mike Leach’s offense is much different than what Mississippi State has recruited toward and might struggle some early on, and his defenses almost never play well.

All games are winnable, not likely however.

MSU, OM, MU are the most winnable. TN perhaps.

No one likes to talk about it, but covid is a factor in all these games. If one team suddenly has an outbreak & several players are quarantined, things can change fast.

Totally forgot we play Tennessee, yes I can very much see that is a winnable game

agree Ole Mrs, Misstake and Mizzery-need to do well in these games.

next tier of “winnable” would likely be tennessee and LSU (lose a TON, including coaching greats)

I would put A&M here, but I don’t see us upsetting them at Kyle field.

don’t see us upsetting Auburn or bama or georgia. for some odd reason I feel better about florida than those 3.

But I really just look forward to watching us play, at all. can’t wait to call the hogs through a hog mask, at the Jawja game!

You’re probably right, but remember, Kyle Field won’t be rocking with 100k Aggies. It’ll be 20-25k scattered about a huge stadium. Home field advantages won’t be what they have been.

In a normal year, I’d agree. Playing on the road is a disadvantage. Especially in many SEC venues. But this isn’t a normal year. Kyle Field, The Swamp, The Plains…… we may not win at any of those venues, but it will likely be because the other teams are just better, and not because the atmosphere was a big factor.

I’m worried about the over/under on last year’s win total.

Fearing the likelihood of under… There’s a strong chance we’ll be underdogs in every game we play.

I think we will be underdogs in every game. So what?

I posted this when they announced the full schedule but here goes again:

Most likely to be a big upset:
Georgia
Fighting chance to win:
Misery
Moo U
Rebnecks

Aloha,

EVERY game is winnable. Most especially in college where coaching, confidence, effort and attitude are critical components to winning.

Everybody argues about stars. But nobody argues about heart.

Oh I know right now before the season we will be the underdog in every game. We will have to win a game for us to have any betting advantage on us

i agree we’ll be underdogs in every game. However, I also think we’ll win one or more, even as an underdog. I think we’ll be a much better team than last year. Last year’s team had no leadership & completely gave up by the end of the year. We had KY on the ropes for the longest. We hung with A&M, too. Losing those two games took away what little incentive we seemed to have up until that point.

I’m not predicting 3 wins. I think 3 are possible. Even 4 is an outside possibility. I know we could also go 0-fer, but I don’t think so. We desperately need to win at least 2 to have any momentum going into 2021 recruiting. Pittman needs to show recruits we’re making progress so they’ll believe he can make them winners before they leave.

Youre Very Optimistic - can Coach Morris get 10% in? Well it Auburn - Will he be allowed to run the Offense - My bet he is OC in name only and Gus will run the show

All of them. If you aren’t playing to win or have that mindset, then don’t play. I’ll believe we can win till the team we are playing proves otherwise.

There’s really no way to know right now.

Thats so true but its fun to read the hoipes and observartions of everyone - I’m taking the Duds approach -

We have a long way to go to compete with even the folks we hope to beat now the SEC top four? - not sure if we ever will -

but I would love that - just not expecting much - I hate saying that - but

“really no way to know”

Absolutely true esply as you look at all the factors that are simply unknowns -

add we got 18-23 year olds playing on the field - you can be suprised by them

Hoping I have Hope again at the end of the season
