Kid is out of position. One play when Thomas hit an inside bucket and drew a four Kingsley just stood there. Didn’t go to the boards. Hangs around the three point line. Something in his head. Disappointing
He threw up a brick in the lane for a kiss and had a putback in the lane.
He has also posted and immediately been doubled.
He freaked out on the first one (turnover) and passed well out of it the next two times (missed wide open 12 footer by Manny and botched wide open layup by Adrio.
So, he’s not out out of position the whole time. Part of it is he needs to convert and his teammates need to convert when he makes the right play and finds the open man.
14 points, 9 rebounds, 2 blocks, 1 steal, 3 turnovers in 27 minutes
6-9 FG, 2-3 FT
He played a much better second half when he stayed down low instead of hanging around the 3 point line.
It is only a matter of time before he blows up in a game. Wasn’t bad tonight.
Moses and at least 5 others are capable of blowing up this year.
That is what makes this ream so interesting.
Aww Dudley
He played the same way both halves. Inside and out. The difference was he hit a few shots and so did his teammates.
Moses did a very good job of handling the double team after the first one.
His biggest problem is he is worried about living up to the hype. It doesn’t help that if he plays a ho hum game people want to know “where he is”.
Moses is likely never going to be a guy with huge point totals. But he can be a guy that you look up at the end of a game and he has an efficient double double with several blocks and assists, sending you scurrying to change your evaluation of his performance.
His team mates have to keep their eyes open for his passes. He is very good at passing as is Thompson. I think Kingsley had 2-3 passes that the team mate wasn’t even looking for but they practice with the guy and should know.

His position was the same in both halves. He routinely checks out of the low to the high to set screens. Did that equally in both halves. The difference in the second half was the emphasis to be more assertive and demand the ball while on the low. That was evident. He wasn’t doing that in the first half.
The correct assessment is that MK needs to be more assertive while on the low block, not that he’s out of position. The only player routinely out of position last night was Barford. He doesn’t like to switch mans and it creates a bit of an issue of the other team mates. He’ll work it out though.
Kingsley showed signs of busting out on O in the second half. He hit a couple of jump shots, got some stickbacks, took advantage of a one-on-one opportunity in the post, and hit a few FTs. Look up, and he’s in that 15-point range. That’s how he got it done last year. It’s not like we have ever run the offense through him. His variety is the key to his production.
