When does practice begin this month?

Team practice begins Jan. 26, but the two weeks preceding that are specialized skill sessions in which players can work with coaches for about an hour each week.

Basically, they report for classes next week and they will be out there doing something every day. I say “out” and that could be inside the indoor workout. Players are working out on their own now. That’s the nature of baseball. The players find a way into the facility and work out.

Personally, I can’t wait for baseball season. I expect really good things. Hope I’m not disappointed.
