I will grudgingly give Hicks the benefit of the doubt and expect that he will play better.this week. He needs to throw at least 6 times to both Burks and Knox. These kids are the real deal and we have to
get the ball to them.all over the field.

Play calling must be better. Ole Miss will load the box, bring pressure and dare Hicks to accurately throw the ball. They cannot run Boyd twice and then attempt to complete a pass. I predict that Starkel will be inserted in the second quarter and we start taking deep shots to Burks, Knox and Woods. Once you run Ole Miss off the line, then you can effectively mix the passing game with a heavy dose of Boyd. Do this and you should finally win a SEC football game. I hope that I am just being hyper critical and Hicks can make enough throws to win the game.uu

I agree I expect to see OM really come after Hicks/OL with a Lot of pressure will be interesting to see how/if we are prepared for it,I hope we use the backs out of the backfiled a lot that will slow them down and the quick pass to TE over the middle will also slow their roll.

After watching the tape you are exactly right. He needed to step up in the pocket where he had protection. He also needed to throw to the short underneath receivers more.
