to the Razorback football defense from the end of 2014 till the end of 2016? Coach Smith and Segrest were part of a staff that produced one of the best Razorback defenses in recent memory. I think they gave up 30 points in the final five games including the bowl win. Two shutouts over LSU and Ole Miss. I know it hurt bad to lose Speight, Flowers and Philon but was that enough to send us to the depths reached this year? I don’t know what the answer is. Did we change what we did well due to personnel issues, were we trying to hide tendencies or just short of talent. How can coaches go from a genius to fired in two years.
I know it was time to make a change but I still appreciate Coach Smith and Segrest for being Razorbacks.
