What freshmen will get good experience this year?

That we can build quickly with this year’s class to build further to start clawing back future program.

Noland? Bumper Pool? Seems we have got a few pups with bite.

On defense, so far, Bumper Pool, Joe Foucha, Myles Mason and perhaps Isaiah Nichols.

I think Pool has all SEC potential by the time he’s a junior. The two safeties both look like players based on the limited sample size, so this very trying season should help them a lot in the future. Nichols has had an encouraging start, but like most DL, is learning the college game and needs an off-season or two to develop physically. Ladarrius Bishop got on the field last week and could end up getting more snaps down the line.

On offense, Mike Woods is in the rotation, and Noah Gatlin has started two games and played in all three. Gatlin may particularly benefit down the road from taking his lumps now. The two QBs are of course likely to get some more playing time going forward.

Could change as the year goes on, but one would think:

WR Mike Woods
OL Noah Gatlin
QB Connor Noland/John Stephen Jones
LB Bumper Pool
S Joseph Foucha
S Myles Mason
DL Isaiah Nichols

OL Silas Robinson
CB LaDarrius Bishop
