My college alma mater is Arkansas A&M. Now (thankfully) known as University of Arkansas Monticello. No one (other than South Arkansas people) believe our mascot is a Boll Weevil.

Call it “atm” as in ATM machine. Most Aggies will be annoyed with the belittling reference to their “wonderful” university that is second only in Texas to ut-Austin.

In the 1908’s it was Trans A$M for buying players. What goes around comes around. Agricultural and Mechancial did not last as long as the $$$ for play did.
