It was definitely ugly, but it was a win. They showed some resiliency. Wish there had been a better camera angle on that play at second base, but the ump was looking right at the 2B’s feet, so I have to believe he got the call right.
No one had a better look at that play than the ump. It looked close to me, but I’m 1,000 miles away in my den! I’m choosing the ump!
