He told them to try not to hit off this pitcher who has been lights out almost all season. He wanted the shutout. He was talking to Hobbs who wanted Connor to allow 2 more runs than their guy. Where do you think he was?

I’m wondering if we had absolutely no other option for Gregory, 0 forever?
Gregory led team in on base for most of the season. And I guess you did see Diggs take his spot. Diggs has not hit much of late. The best option early was Jace Bohfron. He did not hit well after injuring his shoulder. So maybe the answer to your question is no.

Man, we made it to the equivalent of the final four. Kudos to the guys, go home and enjoy your summer. I look forward to no stress for while, and my heart will thank me for that.
