WCWS: OU hits six homers against Texas

Which is a WCWS record. Texas scored first, OU scored the last 16 runs. Need one more win tonight to repeat as national champions.

The wonder is not that the Paperclips are 58-3. The wonder is how they ever lost three games. Their lineup is just ridiculous.

Remember last year when a pitcher from North Texas threw a perfect game against UAPB and struck out all 21 batters? That pitcher hit the transfer portal after the season. She got the win for OU last night. And the staff ERA is well under 1.00. Then we get to the offense. Team batting average is .373, 153 homers, OBP of .474. Jocelyn Alo is hitting .519 with 34 bombs, including two last night. Yes, I said .519. And this ain’t beer league slow pitch.
