Am I remembering correctly that the little tiff they got into last year was something Vitelli said to DVH about recruiting? Maybe he was rubbing it in that he out recruited DVH. Looks like that may be the case. Auburn can’t get them out tonight.
It was over a recruit who was committed to Tennessee and had been contacted by Arkansas. Vitello was not happy about it.
As I recall Vitello got his a$$ handed to him in that verbal exchange.

You would think Vitello has been around long enough to realize that just because they’re committed doesn’t mean you stop trying to change their mind… I’m sure he’s done that plenty of times to guys that committed to us. He just got his panties in a wad because we kicked that butt
