I know it’s getting well into July, but will Coach DVH be doing a press conference to wrap up the season?

Also, I heard his interview on Bo’s show this afternoon, and he mentioned that the renovations to Baum Stadium that will primarily enhance things for the players would also include a little bit more seating. I may have missed it, but I don’t remember hearing that any additional seating would be included in this next update. It doesn’t sound like much, but I’m curious as to what it might be. I know there are drawings for future suites possibly to bend around the outfield in right, but it didn’t sound like that was what he meant.

If anyone gets a chance to ask, I hope we can find out. I’d also like to hear what he thought of the tough schedule this year that we played. Does he think it helped, and does he want to do more of that in the future?

If there is an end-of-year presser, it hasn’t been announced. This is a busy recruiting month for baseball coaches. The newspaper interviewed Van Horn tonight and we’ll have that story in the morning.

On the stadium expansion, I won’t say the 2011 plans have been scrapped completely, but they are being retooled and won’t look like what was previously proposed. This is the expansion Van Horn is referencing: http://www.wholehogsports.com/news/2018 … -baseball/

I talked to Dave multiple times during the season about the schedule. He absolutely thought it helped the team get to the championship series. I think you’ll see similar schedules in the future during years in which Arkansas is loaded.
