Upgrades at AD and FB

Aloha,

After firing JL with a $4.5M buyout and CBB with a $11.5M buyout, I hope and trust the new AD and Head Football Coach are upgrades and well worth the buyouts. That’s a lot of serious cash which can be used more efficently elsewhere.

It doesn’t make sense to me to fire personnel with a solid national pedigree and replace them with personnel of lesser talent, skill, wisdom and experience.

Keeping my fingers crossed.

The football program – and the AD is tied to football at Arkansas, always – could not keep sailing along in that direction. I really don’t care what the nation thinks or what kind of pedigree those two men have beside their name. The losses were too much. If they had great skill, talent and experience, it wasn’t translating on the football field, was it?
