Jean Ramirez, who was a catcher for the Razorbacks during the 2013 season before transferring to Grayson Community College in Texas, died this week in Fort Worth. He had been a bullpen catcher for the Tampa Bay Rays.

This story has been updated with quotes from Dave Van Horn, some of Ramirez’s former teammates and the Rays.
