Zach Williams at 255 and Soli at 240, if good weight, would be really good news. Got Stewart up to 240 as well. That looks like a much better weight for SEC edge rushers.
I don’t remember Draper being close to 250 last year when he came in. Can’t wait to see how Pooh Paul looks at 240.
We have plenty of bulk at the interior DL spots.
Was Coley close to 215 when he signed?
Can a guy with Clary’s body frame really play at 315?
Clary at 315 stands out to me. He was not more than 260 in high school.
Youdaman, you are the one that gets nervous when they see someone put on a bunch of pounds quickly. Henderson is going to add a little at a time and make sure it’s good weight. I bet he’s at 310 by August.
I’m always nervous when folks gain so much weight quickly. and then I see pics of our players, and the OL have plenty of belly. Even Brooks looks soft, maybe it was a bad pic.
I’m sure this staff and these players know much better than I do, the importance of speed in our conference, and we are a long way from september. guess I’m just prone to paranoia after a decade of suckage.
Agree with Clay. Several of these guys will add 5, 10, 15 maybe even 20 pounds between now and fall. A lot depends on their position and their level of physical maturity.
My youngest can put on 15lbs of good weight in about 2 months if he’s disciplined in his workouts and eats a lot. He gained it as high school Sr, and started working out seriously again after Christmas after slacking during his first semester in college.
Yeah when someone puts on quite a bit of weight quickly, I rarely ever see it not affect their speed and agility.
I could have sworn I saw it posted somewhere last season that Henderson was 300 and why I was surprised to see him under 300.Hes a player irregardless, bright future
