No matte helmets this season. As you can see, they’ll play in a more Darren McFadden-era look, which looks sweet. Also, cleats are red and white, not black. That’s a pretty big deal.

UNC, Michigan, OU and I think Florida are the only Jordan schools right now.
The “traditional” look is “clean” to use my terminology. My 16 year old son says they are “lit”.
I’m guessing the word anthracite has not been removed from our uniform inventory. The players seem to love it.

You can bet there are some “special” uniforms happening at several games! I am thinking anthracite pants and jerseys with silver helmet and red hog for sure. Red pants for sure. Probably a surprise look to get the recruits really jacked up. The lean toward tradition is not the final word here. JMVVVVVVVVVHO
I like them - only thing I would change is instead of Razorbacks I would want the name “ARKANSAS” across the chest like the 2006 Uniform - that’s still my all time fav

Do they just not wear knee pads any more?
Why not go Cardinal Red bonnets, Anth jerseys and red pants? That would be a different look and we would still look like Razorbacks. Too much anthrax will kill you.

I thought the pants that did not reach the knee was no longer being allowed. All of these pics show the short pants.
The rule has been changed for 2018 (Rule 1-4-4-d). Pants must cover the knees and knee pads must be worn under them. Tailbone protection must also be worn. NCAA actually put out a reminder on this specific change. My guess is they didn’t have the “models” pull them down for the tweeted pictures.
