I know the Blazers play in a weak conference. I don’t know if they would have been bowl eligible if they had played our schedule. However, I have no doubt that they put a better team on the field in 2018 than we did. This is inexcusable. With resources and facilities that pale in comparison to our’s, they rebuilt their program in two years to a point that they were better than us. A lot of blame to go around, but most falls on the shoulders of Brett Bielema. I don’t expect miracles from the current coaching staff, but I do expect them to field a C-USA championship calibre team by year 3. If not, let’s go hire the coach of the 2020 C-USA champions and call it an upgrade!
