And Charlie Creme has the Hogs in the UConn bracket. Of course. Rematch, anyone? I suspect, though, that Geno would not be too happy to see us in the Sweet 16.
Well to win it all you have to beat some good teams. It might as well be UConn in the sweet 16. It’s just nice to see our hogs earning a possible top 4 seed. It won’t be long until the men do the same.
With our Bracket Matrix spot at a solid 6 right now, it wouldn’t take all that much (like beating Bama and LSU this week) to get to a 4. And those would be two great wins in late February for the committee to look at.
It’s possible for Swine. By the same token in possible to get beat by Bama and LSU. The hogs needs to be ready to play form the opening tip!
Speaking of the Matrix, we are now in all 111 brackets at an average seed of 5.94. The bottom 5 seed (Wisky) is averaging 5.62 and the bottom 4 seed is 4.61 (TTech). We’d only have to improve 150 lines in 111 brackets to reach a 4 and less than 40 lines to get a 5. Beating Bama would certainly get us to a 5.
We will know by this time tomorrow night the outcome of the Bama game!
With all the upsets tonight across college basketball there will be some movement.
We’ve crept upward again in the Matrix. Now the #2 6 seed, just behind Misery (and that’s before they laid an egg against Jawja at home). They added nine more brackets to the Matrix last night and those nine seemed to like us; our average improved as a result and we’re in all 120 brackets.
I think if we win one more game (tonight would be a good time to do it) we’ll become a lock.
There were some losses last night that helped our hogs.
