Were Robert Johnson and Ben Cleveland. Both came in as highly touted freshmen and both ended up being role players. Robert was a highly recruited run/pass QB but moved to WR to help the team. Never grumbled and was always a leader. Ben came as a highly recruited TE and was part of Gus’s Springdale group. He had been committed to Florida but flipped when Gus was hired as OC. Ben never had huge receiving stats but I loved his work ethic. He helped break a lot of long runs with his blocking. He was great at sealing the corners for our RB’s. I like young men who persevere and remain committed to our Hogs.
My least favorite Hog turned out to be Marcos Monk. The Benedict Arnold of the Razorback program. A shame. A real shame.
