There is no bigger believer in Arkansas running back Trelon Smith than his father, Troy.
I spoke to him this week to get to know Trelon and what it has been like watching him create his own path with the Razorbacks:

He has a lot of desire and runs hard for a guy his size. He has good speed. He has been our best back this year. He is a ballplayer. I am glad he will come back next year. He has been a very pleasant surprise as a running back.
Yes, I agree. Any stat you want to look at proves that clearly. He has been a terrific surprise. Best of all, if he wants, I believe he can be eligible for 2 more years.
Trelon has proved to be very durable. Deceptively fast to. Has stepped in a handled the workload.
