As reported in Tuesday’s recruiting tidbits, defensive coordinator Paul Rhoads and defensive line coach John Scott Jr. visited Independence Community College in Kansas to see defensive lineman Emmit Gooden, 6-4, 315.
Gooden has about 15 offers, including one from Alabama. He’s good friends with Hog guard Jaylen Barford. The two recently talked about Fayetteville and the Hogs. Gooden said he’s planning to visit.
