Saturday in golf is known as moving day. That’s what tomorrow reminds me of for the Razorbacks.
There will be 2-1 splits in College Station and Baton Rouge this weekend. That leaves the door open for Arkansas to make a move tomorrow.
If Arkansas can manage to sweep the doubleheader, it will have a three-game lead in the division and put itself in great position to win at least a share of the title next week against LSU.
At very worst we have a one game lead tomorrow night. Would be three full games with a sweep. Could also grab the overall lead if the Chickens help us out.
I’m hoping the hogs win the first game tomorrow! If that happens then look for the sweep! One game at a time. I hope LSU gets beat again tomorrow. Ole Miss and Miss St play each other next weekend and we play LSU. That would leaves it the hands of the hogs to just beat LSU and maintain a lead in the west next weekend.
I just want the hogs to host a super!
I’m with you Army, just want the super regional. I’d be fine to mail it in (sort of) at the conference tournament. If we go in as a one or two seed, pitch off, use that damn tournament as practice for the real tournaments to follow.
LSU is always tough but this year, their road record is one of the worst in the SEC (6-11). Hogs should win at least one today and the series next week. That would give them 19 conference wins heading into College Station. It would be really nice to go there on a 12-game winning streak and with 21 wins. That sounds greedy but the way this team is hitting, it could happen.
