Didn’t see the show but I understand Todd Walker named 4 SEC with the best chances to win the CWS. In order: Tenn, Fla, LSU, Vanderbilt.

I guess they have a higher regard and more respect for those 4 teams than they do for Arkansas, regardless of the record.
I remember a couple weeks ago, on SEC NOW, that they were talking about Vandy being the class of the SEC. Then talked about how good FL and Tenn were. Oh, they said the usual complimentary things about our team. Then I remember Walker saying something about how great the rosters are for the afore mentioned teams, and then said that we were winning games despite having no one player on the roster that jumped out at you.
Mostly gave all the credit to CDVH. can’t argue that at all.
Win the series against Vandy and and then just sit back and put on a big ole Razorback smile and enjoy the party.
He’s never liked the Hogs …he’s just pissed that with all that money they spent to bring in all those great players they still can’t be ahead of us in the division LOL…
I don’t know what the future holds for our team but with all the crap we’ve had to put up with, to be first place, this is been the most amazing season I’ve seen.

I was going from memory so I guess I had Lsu and Vandy flipped. Either way, it’s incredible to me he wouldn’t put us anywhere in his top 4.
LSU couldn’t beat Mississippi State at home. How is that team going to win a national championship? I just have a hard time believing that, but I didn’t play for Skip Bertman.

I can somewhat understand what Walker was saying about the three SEC East teams because of their pitching rotations when healthy, but I don’t think Vanderbilt is going to get Holton back this season.

Alyssa Lang razzed him pretty good noting he had left the team out leading the conference. He stumbled and mumbled understanding he looked pretty foolish. He gave his “DVH is a great coach” and then ran over his justification in not picking Arkansas. He first noted the injuries and then as if he had not heard himself noted injuries were recovery and Arkansas was playing well. I suspect he would be on most any ABC/Disney cost reduction list…

Not saying at all that those teams aren’t worthy contenders, they are really good teams. BUT SO ARE THE HOGS!
LSU and Vandy are battling injuries here late in the season, but hell!, we’ve been battling injuries since day one and still losing a player here at the final series of the reg season, in Stovall.
We deserve to be where we are. Whether we are on the list or not.

Yeah, but we’d be a much better bet than OM would’ve been this time last year. We’re leading the SEC and are a guaranteed national seed. Probably the 2d or 3d seed.
