This is Keljin Blevins from Hot Springs vs Lakers

This is my guy getting good minutes last night against the Lakers. Had 8 points last night with two big threes!

It’s just crazy knowing that Lebron is his favorite player and now he’s out there playing against him. My heart is filled with joy this morning.

You should be proud, Jeff. You are a big reason he’s in the league. Pretty stroke. Hate that LeBron is his favorite player though. LeBron and Monk have caused me to take a temporary leave of absence from my normal Laker fandom.

Thank you Jeremy. He’s such a good young man. He had lots of reasons to go down a different path but his heart came shining through.

When he was in the 9th grade I had kidney stone and had to be hospitalized for a night. Keljin called my wife and was crying. He told her please don’t let coach die, we need him…lol

That’s the kind of young man he is and that’s what I’m most proud of. While typing this he just text me. Emotional day for me!

Great to see your joy. He is living his dream and you played a big part in his preparedness to take it. Many have the dream, but few get to play a part.

Corder coaching from back to Alvin?? learned well, you did Jeff.

Alvin was my uncle. He was a legend in Garland County. Its a shame that Hot Springs High won’t name the court after him.

come on Jeff, he and Danny Sheets won the only state title Lake Hamilton ever had and was plastered all over the gym walls for years after. Alvin and Danny were my least favorite ref duo, but really it was Danny. He would call me for walking just to test me especially if I had beaten him fishing. Don’t know about naming the Hot Springs court for Alvin, but I liked him and thought he was Lake Hamilton historic.

Coach Corder won three state titles at Hot Springs High and it’s never been done since even though there has been better talent.

Coach Corder loved helping kids that came from bad situations.

Coach was offered many college jobs through the years but turned them all down because he said he could make a bigger difference with younger kids.

He died unexpectedly and way too young. I miss him and often think about what else he had to give.
