Watch them try and sneak a “no more than 2 teams from one conference” rule AND, if two teams from one conference get in, they have to be seeded on same side of bracket to prevent a final game of teams from same conference. They are going to make damn sure there is never another Bama versus Georgia rematch for the National Championship. JMVHO

That was an issue when we finished #5 in the country and had to play in the Cotton Bowl instead of a BCS Bowl. #1 vs #2 happened to be LSU vs Bama. How can you honestly make a 2 team limit?

Because the people with the money and the power want lots of things and actually getting the best 8 regardless of conference is not high on that list. As soon as you dictate one team from every power five conference you guarantee that more worthy teams will be left out. That leaves very few slots for the SEC teams to grab and that is what they want. JMVVVVVHO.
