The Red-White rosters include Arlando Cook, but...

not Khalil Garland.

Coach Anderson says that Cook begin practicing on Wednesday and will play in the Red-White scrimmage on Friday, but is still suspended from playing actual games.

A final decision will be made on how long he will be out as the legal issues clear themselves out. Coach A says he has more info now on the incident and Cook has been away from the team for 7 weeks.

Garland has still not been cleared to be involved in competitive drills and games.

The game will be at 7 p.m. on Friday night with gates opening at 5 p.m. and an autograph session with the players and coaches from 5:45-6:45 p.m.

Admission is a canned good.

Red Team:
Trey Thompson, Adrio Bailey, Arlando Cook, redshirting Jalen Harris, CJ Jones, Anton Beard and practice player JT Plummer

White Team:
Jaylen Bardford, Daryl Macon, Daniel Gafford, Dustin Thomas, walk o Jonathan Holmes, Darious Hall and Gabe Osabuohein

Don’t want to be a Debbie downer but it sounds like we shouldn’t expect garland to play. That’s a bummer for him and the team but the right call if they’re not 100% confident.

That’s certainly a possibility.

I was talking with his high school head coach Al Flanigan this week about Ethan Henderson and he said that it was really tough on Khalil, but he just had to be patient.

When the kids health is in question it’s always best to be cautious and let the medical folks get things figured out ! I just hope for the young mans sake that he is able to get cleared and play.
Coach Anderson appears to know enough about Cook’s incident that it leads me to believe Cook may have been taking up for someone and may not think the incident was his fault.
One thing for sure CMA will do what he believe is right period. I support and trust our coach.
