I agree. It is past time. Letting it appear that Ole Miss has snookered us for even this long is not a good thing for the fan base.
If HY came out and publicly stated that Lane was never or offered or something similar…that would make me feel better, if I believed him.

I don’t know what to believe. I do know some of the so called top candidates
Already have new jobs and we are being blasted by the media!
I just want to know who we end up with so I can just forget it like the last failed hire.

HY is giving the appearance that he does not care and does not care what the fans think. I know that is not true but how thinks look do matter. Just my opinion but with all that has happened warrants some communication. He needs to sa6 something.

I personally am to the conclusion that he’s clearly waiting for some dust to settle (which it won’t) because he has an underwhelming hire.

What the fans deserve is a good hire—and none of us knows that we won’t have that.

Fans dont deserve any news if it affects the AD getting his man. It’s a process. See how it works out before making yourself miserable thinking in worst case scenarios.
