Sam Vecenie as of May 2 has Anthony Black at No. 8, NSJ at 18, Ricky Council at 53 and Jordan Walsh at 54.
Would 54 be enough to keep Walsh in the draft or might he think another year could get him into guaranteed contract range? I’m thinking the combine will provide the answer.
If Jordan is less than in the 35 range, I think it would be a mistake to stay in the draft, but I wonder if his pride will let him come back? Most of his McDonald’s peers are going to be drafted, but the big kid at Duke is coming back for one more year, so maybe Jordan will too.
Regardless, Jordan seems to have a great family to lean on.
