Are Texas and Oklahoma scheduled to be part of SEC in ‘24?
Listening to the radio this morning, there was discussions around the softball regionals and the WCWS. The talk was about how good OK is and has been in softball.
I got to thinking how much more difficult the conference will be with the addition of OK softball.
Will be interesting to say the least with the addition of TX and OK in all sports.
I’m not really sure when they come in LOL it will just add to the already insane schedule for SEC softball/baseball.
Just think when it happens there will be 4 teams that fail to make it to Hoover.
The first baseball/softball seasons with 16 teams will be in 2025.

Don’t know for sure they will have the same format
16 teams makes an equal bracket, but would lengthen the tournament
I would not be surprised if the went to a pod format like the Big 12 and ACC do
The ACC has 12 teams in its pod setup. I would expect us to do the same thing.
