Texas and UConn reached out about a committed Hawk

Texas and UConn reached out to Bill Ingram of the Arkansas Hawks and told him they plan to recruit 2019 Hog commit Justice Hill. Ingram told them Hill was 100% solid with the Razorbacks, but the two schools said it’s still early and they will still recruit him.

Hill came in second in the dunk contest at the Elite 80 in Dallas on Saturday. 2019 North Little Rock guard Colin Moore won the contest.

On a side note, Kansas is also going after 2018 Arkansas forward commit Reggie Perry.

Hope these guys just stand by their commitments and tell these other schools that they are not interested.

I think they will, but you can’t blame schools for coming after the guys since it’s still two and three years before they get to Arkansas.

Are we in for Act 3 after Goodwin and Monk?

Betting they are hoping CMA won’t be here then since it’s 2 years out, and figure they can get the inside track on him if he isn’t.

Even if that is their logic, isn’t that still kinda shady? I Thought CMA and Shaka Smart were good friends. I know it’s not uncommon to still recruit committed kids in football, but in basketball you usually hear once a kid is committed other schools stop recruiting him unless he decommits.

No. Fitz Hill won’t allow that to happen. Only way Justice ends up anywhere besides Arkansas is Mike Anderson not being there.

Yes, I agree on Hill. I was asking about Colin Moore.

Sorry. No way of knowing that right now.
