I can never see the name Metcalf without thinking about an old time St Louis Cardinal running back Terry Metcalf. When I wasn’t rooting for Pittsburgh I was rooting for Cardinals. They had a QB called Jim Hart, a RB Terry Metcalf and a WR Mel Grey.

I think Terry’s son was a running back for *spit* Texass… Eric Metcalf. Couldn’t root for him because of the whole Texas thing. Never gonna happen.
