Martin makes the error on the ground ball and the wheels come off. On the pop fly to center field he should have been going after it from the jump. Instead he waits until he sees that Fletcher can’t see the ball.
Just another example of poor defense on display.
That should have been the center fielder’s ball from the get-go. Fletcher didn’t let him know in time that he didn’t see it.
