The people at HogNation do a great job of tracking the players during the summer. Here is a look at how they fared:

The player whose stats jump out to me is Isaiah Campbell. I think he may benefit more from Wes Johnson than any other pitcher. He has the frame to become a hard-throwing closer like Nolan Sanburn, Colby Suggs and Zach Jackson.
Anthony Dahl’s numbers look equally impressive . . . and he’s a lefty.
Isaiah Campbell was the one who came the most last year. He was throwing 92-93 consistently as a true freshman. If he makes a jump with his new pitching coach, you may expect to see 95-97. That makes a mistake hard to hit. He didn’t have a consistent breaking ball to go with that heater. But he was able to locate on both halves of the plate. That’s the next big challenge for him, locate a breaking ball. But if you go to 95-97, that it isn’t quite as important. I look for Campbell to explode this year. I also think Dominic Taccolini might see a jump in velocity and have a shot at the closer role.
