The link for “first unread post” within a thread is a huge help. Any way that could be put on the page with front-facing thread subjects? Thinking sort of like the icons to click on the first, second, third, etc. pages in a thread. Maybe it could go by those? Would take a useless click out of need.
It IS there, it is just hard to click on it if you are using a mobile device. There is a small icon in front of the topic. Simply click on that and you will be taken to the first unread post.
