Here’s my take after the CWS came to an end:
Clay, I enjoyed the article.
You know Coach Van Horn is thinking what might and what should have been. You know his goal is to win that National Championship and to be that close is heartbreaking. He may never get back to Omaha with Arkansas. There are no guarantees. That is what really hurts. I expect he will get us there again, but who knows. I do know he is one of the best coaches in college baseball and that we are fortunate to have him. You know he wanted that for his boys, Coach DeBryan, and the fans.
We Arkansas fans are very proud of this team and Coach Van Horn. We are certainly among the best programs in college baseball. Coach can be very proud of his program.
