Bentonville West 12, LR Central 9 - end of first quarter

Bryson Warren’s 3-pointer ended the quarter and was his first points.

Bryson Warren with 11 points in the opening half to put LR Central up 30-22 over Bentonville West at intermission.

Warren had 7 of those points in a 17-2 run that turned a 12-6 deficit into a 23-14 lead.

Warren now up to 17 points as Little Rock Central will take a 51-33 lead into the fourth quarter.

Little Rock Central moves on to a Saturday semifinal at 1 p.m. to play the winner of tonight’s Bryant-Bentonville game.

After trailing 47-40 at the end of 3rd, Magnolia (23-0) pulls off 61-58 win over Berryville to advance at the Class 4A state tourney. Panther’s streak now at 54.

Morrilton defeats Monticello 72-69 at 4A state tourney

Arkansas commit Joseph Pinion had 16 points 12 rebounds and a block.

I will be out to see North Little Rock and Kel’el Ware play Rogers at 7 p.m. tonight in Fayetteville.

Heading to Morrilton on Saturday to see Magnolia and the hosts play at 1 p.m. and Javion Guy-King and Little Rock Mills at 7 p.m. against the winner of tonight’s Blytheville-Watson Chapel game.

Little Rock Central and Bryant will meet Saturday a 1 p.m. at the Class 6A state tournament in Fayetteville.

Fort Smith Northside will play the winner of North Little Rock- Rogers Saturday at 7 in the other semifinal

Northside eliminated Fayetteville 90-62 on Friday afternoon.
